The CG Auxiliary, along with CG Active Duty and Reserves, comprise Team Coast Guard. As a member of the team auxiliary members are unpaid employees of the Department of Homeland Defense, and as such enjoy the priviledges and responsibilities of same. The auxiliary supports every aspect of Coast Guard Operations except Direct Law Enforcement and Military Operations.
