The purpose of the Children's Advocacy Center is to provide a comfortable, homelike setting for interviewing sexually and severely physically abused children. This program is designed to coordinate services to those who report have reported sexual or physical abuse. It also brings together investigative, medical, and mental health systems in order to properly address this social dysfunction. Professional counseling, linkage with mental health and victim advocacy services, and multi-disciplinary team reveiws, provides the necessary foundation for total systematic change - a pro-active approach intended to reduce the trauma and incidence of sexual and physical abuse of children.
Fees are assessed according to income on a sliding scale basis.
