Beauregard
The mission of the Office of Mental Health is to perform the functions of the State which provide, or cause to be provided, treatment, rehabilitation and follow-up care for individuals in Louisiana with mental and emotional disorders, and to perform other functions related to mental health. It shall administer and/or monitor community-based services, public or private, to assure quality care in the most cost-effective manner in the least restrictive environment for all persons with mental and emotional disorders.
